the vision of God’s Promise

The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a Little Child will Lead them.7 The cow will feed with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. 8 The infant will play near the cobra’s den, and the young child will put its hand into the viper’s nest. 9 They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain, for the earth will be filled with the Knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. Isaiah 11:6-9

God’s overriding Concern is to Restore Creation to Perfection – the Way it was meant to be. This will end all suffering caused by our deviation from God’s Will, which is caused by serving our own desires. We pray for comparatively minor things. We pray for God to put a Band-Aid here or there, and our God, who is a Personal, Loving God, Hears our supplications and answers them in so far as it works toward Restoration. But God’s Plan is so much Broader than our own that we can hardly imagine it. A world where everyone and everything is rejoined to God. A world without suffering and disasters and oppression. A world where we will be perfected in who we were created to be. Self-actualization that we can’t imagine until we unite with the Lord. We won’t lose our identity. We find our true identity in God. It’s a breathtaking Promise!

When we give our lives to You, Lord, we align ourselves with Your overarching Goal of Restoring all of Creation, which can only be accomplished when all hearts, minds, and souls join with You. We are not to save people. You did that so completely upon Your Cross already! There is nothing we can add. We are to witness to Your Salvation. We are to get people’s attention by Shining the Light of Your Love into the darkness, so they follow it back to You. Your Kingdom is Restored person by person. Your Promise is so much Bigger than Everlasting Life in Your Kingdom. Your Promise is that absolutely everything will be made Right again. And the Lion will lie down with the lamb ✝️❤️ We strive to touch the hearts of as many people as we meet with Your Love. We do not preach to them with judgmental, condemning words, but give of ourselves joyfully through the Power of Your Holy Spirit from Whom we draw our Strength. Some people will sit up and take notice. Others will reject us as they rejected you. They will feel threatened by such intense Love. Afraid. And we pray that their hardened hearts will be open to Your Salvation. Your Directive is clear, and we pray and wait to act in Your Holy Spirit – not from our own minds. For we have no idea how all the pieces of the puzzle will fit together in the end. Our logic is not Your Logic. We just need to be willing to go where You Lead us.
